I was reading in another thread on the board today and a poster quoted a saying of her grandmother, that was hilarious! I'd like to start a thread where everyone can post a saying they know, their parents or grandparents say, etc.
I have a funny one - living in the south there are so many to choose from, but my dear sweet daddy said this the other day: He was talking about a truck he had when he was younger. He was telling a story about how he was trying to pull someone out of a ditch with it once and in his description of it he said, "that thing wouldn't pull a greasy string out of a cat's ass." LOL!
Anybody else have any funny sayings they'd like to share? We could always use a laugh.
