Asking this is humiliating
First year at university. Never had a girlfriend, but would like to give it a go. I am a complete novice at this stuff.
Looks wise, the best compliment I have ever had was that I looked like a non sexy version of another boy at my school. To be honest, I do look quite creepy and cannot be considered very good looking (even if you try and claim some eye of the beholder BS).
In conversations with people I think that I come across a little too feminine - I find gossip about other people hilarious.
I have tried some societies, but any females were in groups and too good looking. the ugly ones were too ugly for me to consider (I recognise that this is bad since I myself am ugly). Plus if I embarrass myself by asking out a girl and getting rejected, I cant really go back to some of the smaller societies.
I get the feeling that this post may have turned into more of a complaint, but I would really appreciate some CONSTRUCTIVE advice.
Like for example, how do I tell if a girl is low enough down the food chain for me to be able to ask her out?
