I am a long-term reader of the forum but rarely post. Thanks to the members here for sharing insights that have helped me tremendously in my marriage.
One of the strategies that has worked miracles for me is switching my mindset to "focus on the positives" in my wife. John Gottman in his research has said that happy couples have a 5-to-1 ratio of positive to negative interactions.
Using these inspirations, I have come up with an app idea that, in my opinion, will "gamify couple communication" and allow couples to live more happily and appreciate each other. Together, I am hoping we can build a tool that will enhance/save millions of marriages. I have the backing of some mentors and advisors that can make such things happen.
