Serious about the gym/lifting

Hi! :)

I know there used to be a working out thread, but it seems defunct and it was a TLDR situation.

So, I just moved gyms. I went from one where there were a plethora of lifting classes and fun dancing and cycle classes. I really needed someone to help me stay on task then.

Now I'm at a do-it-yourself gym (much less expensive yay) and I'm feeling very motivated to push my own limits.

Are there any women here that have lots of experience and success with their own routines? I would love to hear from men too.

I just want to learn since I feel like a noob even though I've been working out for over a decade.

How do you decide what to do and when?

My goal is to lose a bit of weight (in mah belly) and really get firm and a bit ripped in my legs.
Diet is erratic right now and I'm looking to lessen processed food and animal fat intake in the near future.

I would love some company and/or support!
