Basically, I've moved into a flatshare kind of arrangement for the next 2 months while I do work on a short-term contract, before I go back to being a student. All of my housemates are lovely, but one in particular is seeming to go the extra mile to make sure I'm settled in (I moved abroad for this work). Things like offering food and tea to me, texting me good luck the night before I started work, stopping by my door before he goes to bed and saying goodnight to me in English (we speak in his native language the rest of the time), winky faces in texts...
However, I only started wondering if he liked me when we were talking last night and I mentioned I was going swimming this weekend, while he's away. He said it would be good if I could postpone it so he could come with me. My other (male) housemate was sat right there and he didn't invite him along - they get on really well, so I've no idea why he wouldn't ask if he wanted to come. He didn't mention inviting any of his friends, and at the moment I've only had the chance to meet my flatmates and coworkers, so he knows I wouldn't bring anyone else. It made me wonder whether he might like me if he's quite keen to spend time with me alone when I'm in a bikini...
I think he's so sweet (and extremely attractive). I would like it if something could develop, particularly because if it goes tits up, I'm leaving very soon. I'm not sure whether I should somehow show him I'm interested? Or whether he is interested in me at all, and I'm just reading into things? I get that weird feeling that there's some kind of spark, but I've been wrong before.
