| I met a very sweet, interesting and intelligent gentleman at a little house party with some friends a few weeks ago. At first I was a little nervous (as always) but he really made me feel comfortable and I opened up. For some reason he kept getting up during our conversation and running to his friends. One of my friends overheard that he was asking them for advice cause he said he wasn't sure how to read me. He said he couldn't figure me out and didn't know what to do. Before I left, he very nervously and awkwardly asked for my number, and when I said yes he put it in himself with his first and last name then texted me "so I'd know who he was". Three days later after no response, I texted him asking if he had checked out the book I suggested. He gave me a "no not yet", so I didn't respond. Now, last night he calls me and texts me asking how I've been and kinda following up with stuff I was working on that I shared with him in our initial conversation. I asked why I didn't hear from him for weeks and he jokingly asked if he had an expiration date. I laughed a little but asked again more seriously, and he said he just had a lot going on. He's a professional NFL player and does tons of training, so perhaps this is valid. Anyhow, he told me he meant to call sooner but dropped the ball and apologized, then asked me on a date for today. He seems really cool but I'm not sure if he's full of games, and if so I really don't want to waste my time. Please let me know if you guys think this is a yay or nay. Thanks so much! | |||
