me and my boyfriend split due to my depression

or what i thought was depression - i think it may be due to the pill i'm on so i'm going back to the docs tomorrow to ask about coming off it or switching pills. im hoping this will improve my moods again.

i'm also going to go back to counseling as i am going through a lot right now so hopefully talking to someone who isn't involved in my situation will help. i've also found that exercising is really good for relieving depressive moods. i'm hoping if i keep up with all of this and i feel better he will reconsider trying things again ... what do you guys think?

he basically said my moods weren't improving, he feels helpless as he doesn't know how to make me feel better and he doesn't see how it could work as we seem to be going round in circles. i don't blame him for ending the relationship - he obviously needs some space. i'm just hoping that in time once i start to feel better he will want to restart things

has anyone else been through a similar situation? any thoughts?
