I know I've complained left/right about my husband's unwillingness to take me on a date, set up something in the way of babysitting with his sister, etc...but...
We've come to learn his best friend's wife is very sick with pancreatic/liver cancer and expects to pass this week.
He asked me to make sure that I email my boss about this, b/c he wants me there with him at both the wake and the funeral and he plans to set up arrangements for our son with his sister so that she can watch him during this time.
It seems like this is the only thing my husband deems to be a "necessity" in the way of babysitting wise....(he did this when both of my parents passed this year too)
Does it seem odd that he needs my presence there? to the point that he asked me to take the day off for this?
But won't set up a date?
