I would consider my dream job, exactly what it would be....a dream. If money were not in the equation, mine would be a manager of a team in the Appalachian League. They have a short-season (60something games) and there would be enough time to do scouting for the team in other areas and assist in spring training. Getting paid to do something you would do for nothing.
If money was in the equation, a general manager for a major league team. Yes you may work 16-18 hour days often but you would be paid near (if not more than) a million a year. If you work a 9-5 and you unwind at home, perusing box score and trade rumors... there isn't much of a difference.
Anyone else have a dream job they would love to have? Maybe if money was not a factor? Maybe if money was a factor....
