This is more of a generic rant, don't know for sure why I even posting this but...
I have checked many successful stories of reconciliations and saved marriages here. They are aspirational and do really help, no doubts about that. For obvious reasons I'm talking WW's cases on the opposite way. I admire the courage and dedication of fWW's who posted here, this is not a personal attack or dead horse beating, I'd be a honor to call them friends.
The common theme across all the stories is 'now when I see my BH hurt, struggling, going through the hell and coping I see how much of a man he is, he's the love of my life, best friend, soulmate, etc., etc., now I understand how much did I hurt him). So the question is, why is it a requirement to hurt your best friend and love of your life like never before to see the best in him?
Like being through hell for my family (not because of cheating, due to external circumstances – death, health issues, financial troubles, the list goes on) is not enough and should a man expect to be betrayed like that for him to be seen in his true value?
