Hello! I am really struggling to decide what to do so having some other opinions would be useful.
I'm currently at UEA but have struggled to find a solid friendship group (I'm not crazy I swear), just been a little unlucky finding like-minded people who already aren't in a friendship group. What's worse is that next year, I am living with two couples (they weren't together when we agreed to live together). Since they've been together, they do not socialise and are rather nasty. However, I do have a couple of friends in the dance society and student radio. Moreover, the town of Norwich is a lot different to my hometown of Manchester and living far away is quite hard occasionally.
After much consideration, I decided to look around at other Unis. The University of Liverpool have said that I can restart my first year or go straight into second year but live with Freshers. I would be closer to home and also my best friend goes to Edge Hill Uni which is in Liverpool. In addition, Liverpool is 6th in the country for my degree.
Now, (nearly finished) but my boyfriend goes to King's in London and I worry that although we've managed first year, being geographically further away with more expensive train tickets, this may be a problem. Also, I wouldn't be able to get funded by student finance if I want to do a Master's as I've "used up" my 4 years of funding.
PLEASE HELP. I would really appreciate some opinions. Apologies for the essay.
Put the internet to work for you.
