iMessage super-mega-fail!!!!!!!! D:

So I texted my friend the other day, didn't get a reply. Checked 5 mins later, and the following convo was there:
Him: 'who is this'
'me': '[my] dad'
Him: ''really?'
'me': 'iphone clearly mixed up something with imessages'

I hadn't got any buzzing etc. Figured it was just temporary.

Next morning, texted one of my friends normally. Then I texted another friend with a, urm, explicit photo. All this via imessage, and normally.

Then my mum asked if I'd fixed it, texted my dad and the texts rebounded automatically as if from him. I checked my settings and basically; my imessage had somehow changed to send & recieve as my dads no. Changed it back then. (we share apple account)

HOWEVER, I don't know whether my dad consequently has the logs of my two convos in the morning - hasn't said anything as such. I also don't know whether the outgoing messages went to his phone; ie the photo..

I figured they hadn't, but my mum sent me this saying be careful:

No problem with your mobile phone anymore? We all need to learn this lesson with mobile messages mixed-up. You never can't be sure you're safe. There were number of cases like this with unfortunate consequences (firing from work, breaking relationship and so on). Messages can mystically arrive to the wrong address and you don't won't to be ashamed of some wordings, images, especially indecent ones. Same with the net: you cannot recover the WORD after it's said and the picture after it posted. Think about your future.
WAH.

tl;dr my dad may have seen an explicit photo of me thanks to apple..
