She broke up with me 3 months ago. We got back together a couple of times but then she breaks it off again and says I'm moving too fast. She tells me she loves me and misses me but doesn't want things to go back to how they were and wants to just be on her own. Sometimes she will say she wants things back to normal between us, other times she will say she doesn't feel the same kissing me and that she's not in love with me. I feel like I've been going around in circles for months and it's torture because I am so in love with her and want her back :(
She wants to stay friends and see how things go. I just don't know if I could do that - can you really be friends with someone you are in love with and have spent 3 years of your life with? I will always want more. At the same time, if I cut contact and don't stay friends then there's no chance at all of us getting back together and I don't want to regret that. I don't think I can get over her if I stay friends though because it reminds me what I've lost.
Please help - what would you do?
