I've always been an insecure guy but since getting a girlfriend I feel that my insecurities are getting worse...

My girlfriend could make a comment every so often about a particular football player ... The player resembles myself yet It still makes me feel insecure.

I trust her but should I let her know of my insecurities or will that annoy and push her away?
