OK, two problems.
Firstly I feel slightly awkward when my gf teases me or plays a little hard to get, saying she might be busy or bringing up other guys to make me jealous etc. Having said that she might want to make sure we don't go sickeningly lovey-dovey and keep a bit of friendship in, which I agree is a good way of keeping attraction.
I tease her a bit too but I actually over think it when she does it sometimes and see it as some way of her gaining power over me which makes me feel inadequate.
Secondly she texted 'I've noticed you're becoming such a flirt ;)' (obviously not to other girls, to her). Is this a compliment or her way of saying to turn it down?
I would ask her, but I feel like it might be akin to dissecting a joke, i.e. defeats the object of the whole game.

Put the internet to work for you.
