This has crossed my mind, do other women also have gotten physical with their man during heated argument?
I have gotten physical with my H 3 times, I remember all of them. They all happened when I felt so hurt emotionally and couldn't get any emotions from my H (he was laughing at me). I wanted him to care about me but he wouldn't.
Once I threw my car keys at him when we were arguing across the room.
Then once I pushed him away when he was telling that my work was horrible and needs to be redone, I was so tired and frustrated and felt unappreciated on so many levels.
Then last night I hit him with a piece of clothing I had in my hand.
Total of three times in our 5 year relationship I have gotten physical with my H.
He has never done this mostly I think because I have said that I would leave if he hit me.
I know this sounds bad and I really don't like myself when it gets that far.
It happens when I feel SO hurt, helpless and powerless, I can not do anything to snap him out of his Self-righteousness and selfishness.
P.S. He never gets physical but he does it verbally a lot when we fight, he calls me stupid, idiot, dumbs*it and so on. He also says that he doesn't give a sh*it what I or anyone think about him.
I never say things like that to him, I call him selfish and self absorbed but that's it and only when I really think he is.
I guess my honest question is do you ever push/ throw things/ hit your man?
