What is she hinting at?!

I've been seeing this girl for a couple of months now, we've been on dates etc and everything is going well. I know this I'm her first boyfriend (I'm not sure if I can call myself that yet, but you get the idea) and she hasn't kissed anyone before (both of us are 18). She has told me twice that she likes to 'be lead' or, the other time she said 'likes a guy to take the lead'. I think she is hinting that she wants me to make the first move. Do you think that is an accurate interpretation? I just want to be respectful so making sure I'm not totally misinterpreting what she is saying before I make a move. ...I really shouldn't call it that - it sounds creepy!! Thanks guys.
