Does it look strange when a girl is much taller than her boyfriend?

Does it look strange when a girl is much taller than her boyfriend? The concept doesn't bother me personally but I hear a lot being made out of it in celeb magazines, even if a girl is slightly taller than her boyfriend. For example take tennis player Caroline Wozniacki (5'9.5 and Rory McIlory 5'8.5). Rory is about an inch shorter, so together in regular shoes, they look like this: But when in heels it looks like this... Do images like that put a lot of women off from 'minature boyfriends'. :D Lets put things into perspective here, Rory is near average male height and isn't desperately short (about my height! :eek:) Do you think being the golf world number 2 helps overcome that in her decision a little? :D
