Wife and I got a new bed...some concerns though

My wife and I got rid of our old queen bed. It was a mattress and box springs that was over 10 years old plus the bed has broken in 3 of the 4 posts during sex over the years...:D Now we have a very sturdy bed, and we have a new foam mattress. It's a lot like memory foam, but it's firmer. The one real drawback that we have both noticed is that we now roast our asses off in bed. It seems like the foam in the mattress retains a lot of body heat. I like it when the wife and I get "fire in the loins", but not like this. Anyone else have issues with foam mattresses like this? Overall, I'm happy with it. It doesn't make noises like the old bed did, and it's much sturdier. I think getting a new bed can have a net positive benefit on the sex life. This Sat, I was able to get my wife really turned on for morning nookie. I think she gets a better night's rest and that seems to help. Also, she was day 4 on the period, so that's unusual to get that turned on by me due to the hormones. I think it was the bed.
