| Anyone ever hear of the site 23andme.com? I heard an ad for it on Spotify last week and it piqued my interest. Apparently it's a DNA testing service with a reasonable price tag! For $100, they collect a sample of your saliva and a few weeks later they provide a report telling you what part of the world your ancestors originated from and what diseases you may be prone to. For an adoptee with no knowledge of their natural family like me this is HUGE! Also there is a VERY exciting part of the service that will put you in contact with others family members as verified by DNA if they have signed up for the service!!! I'm sooo excited (and a little nervous), got the test kit and mailed it off today! It would be so nice to have answers to questions I've had all my life. | |||
