What if?

What if If you wanted to get married one day and your potential partner was really against it, would this put you off? What If you wanted kids and your partner didn't? Of course they may change their minds down the line, it happens! My brother said he never wanted to get married and 7 years down the line he's a married man. Then there's people that refuse to get married, their partner hopes they'll change their mind and 20 years down the line still no ring. So what are your thoughts?
