Whenever I start to like a guy and start getting to know them more and more, I find myself becoming more annoyed by them. It's like they start getting on my nerves after a while and I can't really put my finger on why even if I really liked them before, and I end up kind of pushing them away or acting cold :S
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it likely to be some sort of defense mechanism (sort of like rejecting them before they reject me) or problem with intimacy or do I simply not like them as much as I thought?
