I go on and look at some of my friends some of whom hardly use facebook and they get 150 - 200 likes in some nice normal photos, nothing outstanding. Iit just really hurts somehow. I think I feel worse when I ask a girl for her number and she says do you have facebook. It's as if once she sees my threadbare facebook I won't be cool enough for her or something. But Ii don't get it - how can people get 150 likes in a photo? How many people do people know? In fact, many many people's profile pictures easily go well over 100+ likes - I just feel like is there something wrong with me or something? I'd get like 10-15 max. Sometimes I hear jokes like 'Ii only got 5 likes in 2 hours' and everyone laughs or 'watch this picture get 1000 likes' (joke obviously) - but the message is clear and it adds a sense of social pressure.
