My father died before I was born so I have been raised by my mother and my older sister and both of them have always installed in me the importance of 'respecting women'. I am off to university later this year, however and I have talked to some people who are already there and they have said to ignore social taboos and that providing you are not breaking the law, you can do what ever you want with women. So, should I be careful to respect women or should I not worry too much about this?
