Definition - A deep affection felt for another that causes epic delusions of ever-lasting bliss created from a biochemical endorphin ****tail with a shelf life of about 18 months which transforms itself into a soul sucking poison that causes the loveliest of hopes and dreams to turn into fright-filled garish nightmares featuring monsters called lawyers, in-laws, mortgage, toxic friendship, selfishness, mental disorder, consumeritis and lack of helpful boundaries.
Causes - Complete naiveté, belief in fairy tales and color blindness so red flags can not be seen even in plain sight.
Treatment -The ongoing exchange of an exhaustive list of expensive trinkets, possessions and behaviors that cost substantially more than they will ever benefit your relationship and always underwhelming enough to fail to provide true long lasting satisfaction from your ever weakening formerly intoxicating relationship
Recovery - Shooting yourself in the gonads, brain transplant, and swallowing massive quantities of bottled up bitterness, resentment and self-respect
