Not for religious reasons though, but because I want my first time to be special and taking sex out of the equation will give me and my future girlfriend a chance to really work on establishing emotional intimacy and other parts of the relationship and can be sure that we really do love each other, not just because are sexual desires are being fulfilled. Also, premarital sex is linked to higher divorce rate. I also want her to be SURE that I will never use her for sex and that I truly do want a real relationship. Finally, any breakups are easier to deal with when you haven't had sex with that person. Sex forms new bonds with that person and is the most intimate act two humans can engage in. So I want to be in a strong commitment first before forming those bonds.
So yeah, mainly for personal reasons.
And I would PREFER to marry another virgin because then it's even better - two virgins saving themselves just for each other and no one else and learning how to sexually please each other sounds like a beautiful thing. This would be the ideal situation.

The thing is I am 16, estimating getting married somewhere in my mid to late 20's. I heard that after certain ages, many women don't want to date virgins.
