I met my girlfriend in October and she is 19, I am 34 and her family hate me with a passionate fury.
We love each other and everything is wonderful, marred only by the fact that her family absolutely detest me with a furious passion.
The 'only' reason they hate me is due to the fact that I am older than her, no other reason at all - in fact before we started dating they thought I was a smashing guy.
I get weekly threats and intimidation from pretty much her entire family (I have started to nickname them the krays as they threatened to have me 'done in').
I don't know how much longer I can deal with this furious hatred/threats etc just for falling in love with someone and I am starting to consider calling it a day with my lovely girl.
We are so loved up and happy it will break my heart but the constant abuse and intimidation is just getting silly now and I can see it draining on my wonderful girlfriend too and I don't want her to be unhappy constantly.
I treat her wonderful and we are really happy but they 'HATE' me due to the age difference.
What should I do :S
