Been going out with my partner for one and a half years.
We have been having a rough patch these last couple of months, but over the last few weeks we have been trying hard to make things better.
Last night we spoke on the phone and she said she has serious doubts about us working out.
Today I asked her if we could meet for a coffee to have a chat. She replied she was busy as going out with a friend for dinner.
Am I out of line to be thinking she could have prioritised things better here? If this was the other way round, I'd never leave her hanging like that to go out with a mate, and any decent mate would understand a change in plan / postponement of a random dinner (the dinner was a routine meeting, no special event, etc).
