I met him a while ago through uni friends, didn't know he had a girlfriend at first and tbh kinda assumed he was into me - he was very touchy feely, always hugging me and putting his arm round me etc. He always has been like that, but I've grown to really like him and the flirtiness has got loads worse recently, so obviously it's quite frustrating to me that he has a girlfriend yet still acts like this with me...
For example, we went out last weekend with a group of our friends (some of his flatmates are on my course and we got introduced that way), and he insisted on buying most of my drinks for me, complimented me loads (said I was beautiful at one point!), offered me his jacket when I was cold (I declined and then he started cuddling against me), hugs me a lot etc... a bartender assumed we were a couple also at one point and he didn't correct them.
I don't mind all this obviously because I like him but I feel that it's just inappropriate to act like this with me if he has a girlfriend, am I right? It's startng to be a bit annoying because I want something to happen but obv it can't, he's taken, and I don't know whether to say anything to him or just leave it and stop responding to his flirtiness...? I'm starting to wonder what the point is, what are his motives, why's he being like this? What would you do?
