So there's this girl haha..
BACKGROUND:
known her for 3 years on my uni course. Fancied her from the day I saw her tbh. Though she had a bf in my 1st year, so I didn't get too close to her friends wise for fear of falling completely for her. She's single now.
I started to get to know her better in 3rd year. My course is such that with all the groups/project work, you hardly see people in your year group. This last year we had both chosen the same specialist module so we see more of each other. I think she likes my presentation style - ive done well on the project work and she always smiles at me. I really love her driven nature... don't known why but her forwardness really turns me on.
WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW:
Whilst we see more of each other, I haven't gone for it if you know what I mean. I've sat next to her, but haven't had the luck of being in her group for work, to spend more time with her naturally. I have been sitting next to her now and again and she has occasionally texted me during lectures. I want to get to know her more, but it's difficult with the cranky people on my course who get in the way and cockblock etc. Cos we see each other often, I'm worried about asking her out and getting rejected. Also I have a slight problem in that I'm starting work at the end of this year (in about a month). She's doing a masters next year.
DOES SHE LIKE ME?
She had a birthday party recently and invited about 20 people to dinner. Of this, most were from uni and some from her old school. Of the 20, only 2 were guys including myself. The other guy was from her school social group. Considering she hangs around with guys at uni, I found it odd (but flattering) that I was the only one there.
There was a teeny bit of flirting on the night (eye contact and laughs), couldn't get the coveted opposite seat because her female flatmate nabbed it. I was also so nervous I forgot to say what I was thinking in my head (that she looked incredibly beautiful). I really think she is gorgeous. Though we enjoyed some cheeky conversation, I could not make it to the afterparty (family thing on the weekend, in fact I had made a special effort to be there for her night... but didn't manage to tell her )
I wrote a special message in her birthday card that I gave her. At 3am in the morning she messaged me and said thank you and the message was perfect. It related to when we first met. There were quite a few x's. I saw it at about 11 am and messaged her back saying I was glad she like it. She messaged me back almost immediately with a smile another thank you and a kiss.
I really think she is hot, does she like me back? She is asian like me, I love her personality and I would love to talk to her one on one on a date, but I have time constraints (job approaching)... what to do... girls what do you think?
