Basically my depression stems from feeling ugly and a social misfit.
It is:
1) affecting my work. I often call sickies.
2) Enabling me to not move forward in my career, due to the anxiety that comes with moving into a new working environment.
3) Low energy levels. I often don't have the motivation to be consistent, so often start something not being able to finish it. Work in spurts.
I am getting very concern - don't want to see my GP about it and get onto pills. Has anyone ever overcome depression like this alone?
