Hey, I need some advice so the best place I thought to go was here and ask the lovely TSR. Anon or delete just in case someone I know sees this. Basically, in September I started college and started doing A level Art, I get on really well with the people on my table and this guy got put with us as we put on a seating plan lets call him "Jack". I find Jack really attractive and would like to know him better, the only thing is, he doesn't talk AT ALL. We all talk to each other on our art table but Jack is really quiet and just gets on with his work. I smile at him when we come in to art but he just ignores it, looks at me and then continues doing his art work. I got Jack to talk for the first time 2 days ago by asking how he was and he was really quiet at first and gave really simplistic answers. My friends started asking him questions too trying to get him to join in the conversation but sometimes he mumbles to himself or talks really quietly before trying to talk again. Yesterday, I said "hi" to Jack but he didn't say anything back, I was really nervous since I had a crush on him. My friend was at the table and she suddenly started talking about exes then she turned the conversation to my ex. I tried to dodge it but she implicated that I slept around a lot and that I enjoyed it, all which is lies, I have only kissed a guy before. I laughed at something she said and Jack was looking slightly at me before getting back on his work. He probably thinks I'm promiscuous now which is slightly mortifying. I know Jack has a group of friends so I was wondering whether he is quiet because A) he doesn't like me so doesn't want to talk to me B) is really shy or C) autistic. I was wondering what you all thought of the situation and if there was a possible way I could get him to like me? He walks the dog around my area every day at the same time I walk mine so I was wondering if I should try to strike up conversation even though he rushes p ast me with his pet? Also, should I continue trying to talk to him? Please help :D
Put the internet to work for you.
