I am going to sound bitter and I am so I won't make excuses for my behaviour.
I am 23, studying for a masters and have a job share BUT that's it.
Facebook has made me insanely jealous of all the smug engaged/married/ pregnant people. I know it's an easy option to delete fb but still.
From the age of 18 these three things keep coming up. It actually reached the point where I was jealous of a 15 year old girl I'm fb friends with who just had a baby. I could've had a baby perhaps if I neglected protection but that's besides the point plus people still judge.
Christmas Eve was a nightmare 4 engagements on fb and someone had their wedding on Christmas Eve. Some people getting engaged are only 18!
I am in an LDR with an immature guy who cares more about computer games than buying a ring. Plus I'm thinking of breaking up and looking for someone local and marriage minded instead. WHY HAVE I NOT REACHED THE ENGAGED STAGE By 23? Is there something inherently wrong with me. Most of my friends are engaged or married!
TLDR; People smugly making engagement or pregnancy announcements on fb make me question myself. Does anyone feel the same?:$
