At the end of my marriage, I thought my wife was hiding things from me and I snooped on her email. I'll skip that whole story but to say she was having an emotional affair and we were divorced 2 years ago.
Now I've been dating someone for 6 months and I started getting an insecure feeling. And this week I snooped on her and I feel terrible about it. She's been out of town so we haven't talked a lot, but a few issues arose right before her trip. I really wish I'd waited until she got back to talk (which I still intend to do). I don't want this to be my pattern, and right now I feel like an addict who went back to their addiction.
