illusion or delusion :E

what do you think?
I'm referring more to non-platonic/sexual love.
A lot of people think love is something unique and special but if you think about it it isn't really that special because there are loads of people you could have 'fallen in love' with and who could have 'fallen in love' with you if you were just in a different place/ different time. Even if someone eventually claims to love you, after having spent a lot of time with you, it seems they are just telling themselves that because they may really enjoy being around you, like your personality, are attracted to you and you are both compatible. They've just identified someone who possess a range of characteristics in the right proportions and with time has associated the likability of those characteristics with being in love. However, if they looked across the whole world they would see that there are many people who possess these particular combination of characteristics in similar proportions. Although they are claiming to love you it shows there are many people who they coul d fool themselves into thinking they loved and they may have ended up falling in love with them rather than you.
When someone you like or partner says 'I love you' . Those words are really strong and evoke an emotional response. It makes the person who it is being said to feel warm and think "aw they actually love me :H:" which sort of encourages the illusion as you feel special and they you tell the person that you love them back which makes them feel special as well. Neither one is special though because each claims to be in love due to the combination of physical/emotional charactersitics that the other one possess. However, the specific combination of emotional/physical characteristics which causes the attracts and with time the feeling of 'love' could be found in several other people. Once you find someone with the right combination/proportion of the characteristics which you like you pursue them and do not look for the others out there since if you have a good chance with this person then there is no need. Your head them becomes filled with this one person and as you spend more ti me with them and develop a very strong connection. Over time your head equates all the emotions that evolve as a result of the connection with feeling of 'being in love'
Sorry I am not so brilliant at formulating my argument..if there is even an argument so maybe someone could rephrase it better. I will probably end up erasing this as I come across as a bit of an idiot :( However I would like a few responses before I do that :p
