Okay, m best friend and I want to follow the same career path, and we both do the same course at college, and we even do work placement at the same company, only been at college since September and only been working for 3 weeks together,
We both applied for a sponsorship to go to a college to do a foundation degree, a year early but will be all paid for. This is because the course we do is only basic compared to what we plan to achieve.
but lastweek my friend had a phone call to announce she had an interview for this sponsorship, and today had been offered it. What did I get? Nothing! after hearing this I was like oh yayyy, but really I'm actually feeling pretty awful as i feel that I am second best to my friend, I am now thinking oh, where will I be in 5 years? And how far behind will I be to them?
It has impacted me greatly cause I have now considered not going to uni anymore, and I actually admit I'm actually quite jealous:/
shying away from this I always get quite jealous anyway:/ like my friends have just got new cars and passed their test etc. my friens have got new corsas ect, and I have an old ka, I'm not bothered as it's only a car, but I always get the feeling I'm getting looked down on by my friends cause I haven't got as good of life as them:/
