This is my first post, I feel I need anonymous second opinions on this, an outsiders view, I'll do my best to explain the story and situation, it's quite a long story but please, bare with it, this situation is killing me!
I'm 21, back in May I met this girl whom is 24 whom we'll call Kate, she's foreign and emigrated over here for work, I approached her in the club and we started chatting, her workmate she was with had got too drunk and was thrown out, so she was sat alone, anyway one thing led to another and before I knew it, we were back at hers having sex, she also took my virginity.
When we woke up things weren't awkward, we stayed in bed for a few hours chatting getting to know each other, and at one point, even started kissing again, we went our separate ways, I contacted her a few days later asking her out for dinner, later that week we did go.
We went on a few dates together, dinner, parks, cinema, texting was fast and strong, but she said she just wanted to be friends, for a month or two things went slow between us, texting was slow and frustrating and we never saw each other, her roommate also introduced Kate into her social circle and she started going out and meeting new people.
However after a chance meeting in a nightclub in late July we started texting again, several days after she asked me out to the cinema, then the same again the next week, texting picked up, it also turns out that she fell out with all the new guys she was introduced to through her roommate (She said she barely has any friends because she finds it hard to trust).
Pretty much since that she's asked me out on several dates and we appear to be getting closer, we're more relaxed and comfortable in each others company, there's more banter, laughs and playing around, we went out again last night with each other and she text me very early this morning thanking me for a great night and for our next meet up next week we've planned a whole day event, not just an evening, her idea, not mine.
I'm crazy for this girl, I was a virgin with no previous relationships, I'm not shy, withdrawn, geeky or nerdy, I'm actually very into fitness and look after myself, I just never took the time to search for a women and focused more on my career, therefore being the first girl I was intimate with, I have completely fallen for her, I think about her all the time, it drove me crazy and mad when we had minimal contact and she was hanging around with the other guys, whom were much older and better off than me.
We haven't kissed yet or had sex since the night we met, but there's definitely chemistry and interest there, we get lots of eye contact and laughs out of each other.
What would you say she is feeling right now? Am I just in the friendzone? Is she interested but playing it safe? Changed her mind? Playing the long game? Why would she trust and want to keep meeting up with me after what happened?
