So I created this online card for this girl I like for her birthday, which included a message and a picture of her favourite show.
I sent it her as -
"Instead of me writing on your wall for your birthday.. click this -> http://imageupload.co.uk/files/rbckcuc12…
One rule, you can't use your phone to view it"
(The naked cartoon character is an inside joke)
It's supposed to be a nice gesture to make her smille, but I don't know if it's me overthinking/paranoid that she might have found it cringey or not.
Coincidentally, 25 minutes after I sent it, I saw one of her closest guy mates tweet "Omg, proper f*cking cringy" and now I'm worried whether she passed this on, or whether this guy's tweet was related to his previous one.
It's been a day and a half and I haven't had a reply, she's been active replying to birthday wishes on Facebook using her mobile.
Was it cringey or am I overthinking? I feel like I regret sending it now
