Feel so stupid but this has really shaken me up!

Hi, could just use some advice on this kind of minor thing which I feel like I'm seriously over reacting about.. :( I've been seeing this guy for over a while now. Things are going well, really relaxed with him and he doesn't play mind games, very good with keeping in touch etc. We had a bit of a chat about where we're both at with whats happening and we agreed that we weren't going to date other people at the same time as seeing each other, but that we were going to take things slow and not label it too soon. We both felt comfortable and happy with this. He's been away on holiday for the past fortnight and I was really surprised to hear from him a few times whilst he was away. I wasn't really expecting to hear from him until he was back.. Not because he normally doesn't get in touch first but because he was abroad and we're not boyfriend/ girlfriend. I just wouldn't be expecting it! So that was nice. He'd said he'd like to definitely meet up again in a message he sent me just before he was due to come back so I've been looking forward to seeing him again. I dropped him a text last night, he's only been back a couple of days and we had a little chat, everything normal, it was getting late and then I sent one asking what he was up to.... :S and he's stopped replying. I feel like such an idiot but its really sort of upset me... I'm not usually neurotic and clingy with texts at all. He's usually very good at replying and like I said earlier is very much not into mind games and messing girls about, when I said this at one point he said himself he'd never do that.. Its made me realise that I'm probably a lot more into him than I thought I was. Its such a silly little thing with so many honest reasons as to why he may not have got back to me. But this is the first time anything like this has happened with him. I've had a fair few situations with guys now where I'll think everythings fine, they're giving me enough space and I'm giving them enough space,but we're both showing we're interested and have said we're happy with the situation.. they're texting me etc... and then they'll suddenly stop replying.. so I think I'm worrying that this is whats happened again :/ My mind really has gone into over drive. Anyone got any advice?...:(
