Falling for a girlfriend

Hey, Yes, it's happening to me too. A girl I've known for years (never really talked alot to her, we were just part of a group of friends) is starting to mess with my head. She's a sweet, attractive and honest (as far as I know ofcourse ;-) ) girl. Lately we've been chatting more and more. At first just because I broke up with my ex (she used to be a great friend of my ex), around december last year. However, since I've closed that book foregood I'm starting to really like her. As she doesn't deserve some rebound relationship, I made sure I liked her by not really chatting/talking to her 24/7. Now that I'm sure of my feelings however, I notice that we communicate more. We chat everyday, mostly just about everyday stuff although lately it gets a little more personal. She often initiates conversations, so atleast the communication is a two-way street and it doesn't feel like I'm bothering her. I tested this a few times by not talking to her for like a day, and she usually started the conversation after such a time period. So atleast I'm on her mind :). I see her once a week and I often strike up a conversation with her. I guess I could say I'm the funny guy, so I know how to make her (and most people) laugh. This week, she picked me up/dropped me off which was very nice too. i just feel as if she really likes communicating with me, both through chatting and talking in real life. She smiles to me quite often, something that I've noticed more and more lately which feels great ofcourse! I'm just not sure yet. I know she likes me, but it ofcourse could just be all friendly. As we usually see eachother in a group situation, flirting is not really possible (not that I'm a great flirter anyway, lol). Asking her out right now seems too soon for me as we've only been communicating quite heavily for the last week or so. I'd like to see her more often than just once a week, though. Any hints on what to do? She doesn't have alot of guy friends I think, so she's not someone who just chats with everybody all day long. I think I'll just try and flirt/compliment a little when situations arise that let me. Any other tips/hints? As we're good friends at the moment, I do not want to do anything that could ruin the friendship, although being her guy-friend is ofcourse not enough for me. I hate this crush period, as I'm over analyzing everything she says :P. Basically, we started communicating more both on chat and in real life when I see her (I talk to her at least for a little while every week). Thanks for reading :).
