| In a fresher at uni and for about the last 10 weeks or so I've been going to lectures with my friend, and nearly every single lecture I see the same girl sitting a few rows forward or behind me as we both sit at the back on the right. My question is that is there any way that I can introduce myself to her or start chatting to her without it being awkward ? As people have gotten well past the whole "introduce yourself" phase, I've found that people aren't receptive to being talked to by strangers in lectures anymore, I started chatting to someone a few weeks ago and I could tell she was completely caught by surprise and so it was a tad awkward. This girl also always goes to lectures with one friend so it's not quite as simple as it would be if she was on her own. Do I wait until we happen to meet at a club or on a social to introduce myself ? as the town I'm in is quite small. All advice appreciated :) | |||
