I've grown fond of this cute mixed-race girl on my University course, however I only see her a few times each week.
It all started about 3 weeks ago when I properly started to notice her. At the end of a seminar I cracked a joke after the lecturer remarked something and everyone laughed. I started to pack my stuff back in my bag and I looked up towards the girl in question and she looked at me and we smiled at each other for what seemed a while (2-3 seconds). I'm quite shy when it comes to girls so I looked down and then back up and it looked like she did the same thing.
Last week we were in this cramped room with 3 other people trying to sort out a presentation. She came in through the door and I gave up my seat. She told me it'd be fine, and she sat down on the floor next to me.
She handed me a piece of paper with some details of our project and pointed out these key facts. After she pointed them out she left her index finger on my lap for 2-3 seconds. I didn't budge.
Later on that very same day I was in a lecture and she sat next to me. She could've gone any where else, but she sat next to me.
Do you think this is her showing signs of interest? or is it just friendship?
