Ok so I met the guy two weeks ago, we met up for coffee a few days later and he sent me a couple of texts and added me on Facebook. I probably came off as a bit stand-offish as I didn't really reply to texts (I was busy) at first but then I sent him a message on Facebook and we got talking and he asked to meet up at the weekend for a drink. An exchange of a few drunk texts on a night out and seeing him for about two minutes in the club happened, he sent me a text saying he'd gone home and he would see me later that day.
The next day I messaged him apologising for texts (just very badly spelt) and he said it was fine and he was a bit hungover so maybe we should meet the day after, I said I was busy (again legitimately busy) and maybe another time? He just said ok to that. Been a couple of days and have heard nothing since, should I suggest meeting up or just give up on this and just forget about him?
I'm never sure if I am being overly keen if I message first a lot recently or I've done the opposite by not suggesting an alternative time to meet.
I'm not sure if he's a bit shy or just not that bothered, he's evidently very popular but I'm not sure if he has much experience with girls (Can't really make assumptions though!) he did seem keen to meet again the other week.
I tend to work on the basis that if a guy is into you they will make the effort to contact you but I haven't really been dating for a while and feel so out of touch with it all and don't want to give up on this just yet.
