So you have a friend who as far as you can see has ignored a bunch of messages you sent them almost a week ago and has made no effort to contact you since. Do you ignore back?
Perhaps it's a no-brainer to not say anything and to assume they dont want to be friends anymore but that's frankly weird considering that last time we spoke it was friendly, 'I miss you :(' (from them) etc?
Do I just have overly high expectations? The messages included questions so it feels really rude to ignore them. I don't want to call out their behavior but if they talk to me again like nothing happened and I'm friendly because of wanting to keep the friendship I'll kind of feel like a doormat.
Btw I have other friends who don't respond to messages or take days but I know they are actual friends. Clearly they don't prioritize me too highly but I know they like me. I think part of the reason people avoid me is because I'm needy and kind of demanding to talk to in that I ask a lot of difficult questions (like philosophical ones) and talk about tricky subjects like rape and sexual morality and war, but I don't really know how to talk about normal things without feeling like a bore
Put the internet to work for you.
