so ive been married for less than 5 years now and have an infant son with my husband, to better get the picture we had a whirlwind romance which lead to a short engagement and wedding. my s.o. (significant other) and I come from two different backgrounds him with a not loving family life and me with a very loving family and also he was poor and i wasnt rich but middle class. my problem? no communication, no emotion, no facial expressions from him and if i do get one its precious. i try to let it not bother me but i think since he grew up so differently than me hes just not capable of showing any emotion. i am a stay at home mom and he owns his own business that he runs out of the house so we are always around each other and even tho i try to talk to him and get some emotion( like excitement for a new project or our sons first words) he just says cool or some other non committal word and goes back to the garage or his computer or phone. please help me for sometimes i feel like i would rather not have him around rather than a zombie dad who shows no love for his wife.
