My boyfriend of two months recently said that he was thinking of breaking up with me in September, as I am going to uni (3 - 4 hours away). His reasoning was that this is what his brothers did when they or their girlfriends at the time went to uni, and that he doesn't want our relationship to end on bad terms because he loves me so much.
In the end I told him we can make a mutual decision in September, but if what we have then is as good as what we have now, isn't it worth the risk of a bad break up if there is a chance it won't end at all?
He agreed with me, but I have no idea if he is still thinking about it or not, and if he is going to make the decision on his own - I love him too and I can't bear the thought of breaking up with him. I haven't seen or even really spoken to him since (this was a few days ago), but that might just be because we have both been busy revising etc.
I don't know what to think, and if I haven't managed to convince him, is there a way I can?
