So as you can tell by my username, I'm an ex-smoker. It will be a year on July1st. My husband and I both smoked together for many years. We have been married for 18 &1/2 years. Over the years, we have both smoked and tried to quit and went right back to smoking. Last February, both of us decided that we would try ecigs to quit. I ordered both of us a kit and set the date to quit smoking regular cigs on March first. I had brought two strengths of ecigs. 1.2 and .6 . Well, we both started on March 1, and on May 1, I decided to go to .6 strength and I was smoke free totally by 01July. My husband has been back and forth since we started. I got pneumonia in last July and had breathing problems in August. I am fine now but I can't stand the smell of smoke at all. It triggers a migrate headache. I found out yesterday, that my husband hasn't really quit smoking cigarettes at all. He has been telling me that he is still using the ecigs. I could smell it when I cam e in the porch yesterday from work. I also found a cigarette butt in the toilet that didn't go down. Here I thought that something else was causing my headaches and all a long it was his smoking. He says that the guys all smoke at the golf course and that's where he is all the time. He also works at one too! I can stand the smell at all, it makes me so sick. I don't know why I react to smoke like I do since I used to smoke for 42 years since I was 13. I don't think I can live with him now. Besides that we quit having sex over the past year altogether so now I have no stress relief to boot! Financially we are fine and some of me wants to just move out and quit. I told him this morning that something has to give cause I can't deal with it. We never smoked it the house but I could smell it yesterday, maybe because of the rain and I think he just had one before I got home on the porch. Please advise.
Put the internet to work for you.
