Hey guys. Could really use some advice here.
I was on my boyfriend's laptop (which I am very welcome to use) and was trying to find a specific video. Then I saw what I thought was porn and it turned out it was a video of him and his ex from two years ago doing the deed. He is still friends with this girl by the way. As soon as I realised I shut it off and didn't watch it.
I was pretty shocked and upset and told him I found it. He was not defensive or angry in any way and just kinda laughed it off and said it was no problem/not a big deal.
My issue isn't that he's made a sex tape. My big concern is that it's a girl that a) he used to love and b) is now a friend. And he's kept it. How can he expect me to be around this girl now that I know he has this video?
He tried very hard to reassure me, saying that he has no romantic or sexual feelings for this girl whatsoever and it's just a memory, a documentation of an amusing incident.
Otherwise, he is very good to me.
But I think this is weird. I've always assumed people keep things like that because they still have feelings for the other person. Am I overreacting?
