I'll try and keep this short. I don't know what I'm expecting in terms of replies but I'll be glad to get this off my chest.
I took a girl out on a date last Friday. We met online. To keep a long story short, the whole thing went amazingly well. We had a lot in common, laughed a lot, she told me that she had a great time and wants to see me again. We held hands, kissed. I went home feeling good.
I got back to my place and she messaged asking if I got back okay etc. and I replied asking her the same question and saying thanks for a lovely evening, to which she said thank you too.
Now, a recurring theme through talking to her is that she's awful at replying to messages. She said this in person, and also stated that's she's not ignoring me and not to be offended if she doesn't reply.
After a couple of messages since the date, I messaged her Tuesday evening asking if she wanted to meet up again. She said 'yes, let me check when I'm working and I'll get back to you'. I haven't had a reply and sent another message last night asking if she'd checked yet, still no reply.
The same thing actually happened when organising our first meeting, although I heard back from her 5/6 days after she said she'd check (this was after messaging her again)
I don't know where to go from here. We're not using text messages, just one of those messaging apps, so I don't know if it's that playing up, or she's genuinely busy, or has just lost interest.
I know that she's quite busy at the moment, working 5 days a week, often until 10:30pm, and also doing freelance work on the side, but it seems odd to not reply at all.
I wouldn't hold it against her if she has lost interest completely, for whatever reason, although after all of the encouraging signs, I'd rather be told than ignored.
I'm thinking of waiting through the weekend and sending her an actual text next week, but I don't want to come on too persistently. (I haven't added her on Facebook or anything yet). I just don't want to be left in limbo.
Any thoughts?
