So my ex gf broke up with me in Jan after 3 months together, and we've been in regular contact because we are at the same uni, same course etc.
The breakup itself wasn't 'bad/ugly'.. she wasn't ready for the commitment and I had to accept that. She made it clear that she still wants to be friends with me afterwards, and she feels really guilty about the whole scenario. There have been times in between when she has been distant towards me, and at other times she becomes very close and discusses her personal problems etc.
Recently, she didn't reply to my message (in a conversation which she initiated!) for about 10 days after which she sent me a rather jokey message - at this point I made her aware of the fact that she avoided me and she simply said that 'yeah sorry i've been really busy..'
I havent replied to her since then but I am surprised that she did ignore me for 10 days - she has always replied to my messages even after the breakup and we had zero arguments or anything.
No, I am clearly not over her yet because I still somehow think that there is a chance of things working out. I have been advised numerous times to forget her and all but seriously it isn't working for me :( .
As far as she is concerned, I don't know how she feels. I have even asked her directly but she always says that 'I still love you but I can't commit etc…' and I don't know what she means.
How should i approach this situation and is there anything I can do to improve it?
Thanks for reading.
